No 18 Fried Kuay Teow@Zion Riverside Food Centre

I decided to drop by this rustic place to get some nice local food.  It's not always about feasting in cushy places.  Infact, such quiet places can be a treasure cove for glorious food.

So here we are ar Zion Riverside Food Centre!  The place has been renovated recently; new paint, fittings and a tang of modern design to this building which carries decades of history; known only by the old folks who have been around here for awhile.

The stall had been published in local papers, rated by food critics and the most important thing is, it has been around for more than a decade.

Served piping hot!  But being a gastronomer, it turned a little cooler by the time I'm ready to eat.

Finishing off with a cooling drink works great!
