We decided this place as our dinner spot after a busy day.
Right in the heart of Shaw Tower, the restaurant has now expanded its seating capacity so we found ample seats without having to queue.
The new seating area is well-decorated too!
Since it's been a while, we decided to go easy with the following:
Traditional tomyum soup - It is spicy enough with lots of spices, ingredients such as squids and prawns. As the soup is tasty, I suppose the prawns have been used as flavour essence hence its meat isn't as spongy as before.
Phat thai - Comes with crushed peanuts and tastes quite well, except it's a little salty. Overall it's still cooked well with prawns, bean sprouts and spring onions.
Pineapple rice - It's not served in large pineapples; probably due to modernisation. This is the first time I've tasted one with sultanas instead of raisins. The pineapples were in chunks. It's a little oily though from the pretty glossy look.
Overall the place is great to dine. With no GST & service charge, all you pay is what you ordered.
Krop kum krap!
