Lunch@Swensen's Bugis Junction

Lunch with a group of good company at this well-located eatery in Bugis Junction were a birthday celebration was also held.

There was a lunch special which seems to be available only during weekdays; a main with a free side, ice cream or drink.

My order was beef bolongenese in cheese.  There are so many tantalising items on the menu but today's just a feel to have one of these as I have not tried it for a long time.

A scoop beneath the cheese "carpet" reveals well-cooked spaghetti which was neither puffy nor soggy.  Beef meatballs in sauce was well mixed without going all drippy-drippy.  

Sides was a buschetto which was garlic bread with diced tomatoes and raw onions; I love this raw taste and the toppings were nicely diced to give the correct taste texture.

I have to come to this place again to try other dishes!  The pasta was pretty well done indeed.
