Salt Tapas by Luke Mangan@Raffles City

I came here for lunch with a few good company; nice environment.  Though it's beside the road, one will not hear much as the restaurant's well glass-panelled.

They serve an array of ala carte or set meals, which prices are considerably good.  Lots of seafood choices for those who like the sea catches.

The meal comes in different waves; 1st were appetisers (pita-like bread with sauces for dipping), followed by entrees and then the main.

Taco of Tempura prawn
My side was a Taco of Tempura prawn, wrapped in a thin slice of dough and dressed with pineapple salsa.  The bread tastes a little dry but with the salsa sauce on it, it makes a perfect blend.

Tasmanian trout

Next comes the main, which was a Tasmanian trout, complete with crushed potato, broad beans, tomato and olive vierge.

The broad beans didn't have that heavy smell when it was raw hence it's pretty easy for those who are concerned about its smell.

The 'finishing move was the sides, where I had Fried Potatoes with spicy sauce and garlic aioli...so more potatoes (definitely a little heavier as lunch).

The potatoes had a slight crusty coat and yet well done so it's neither too hard nor soggy.

Fried Potatoes with spicy sauce and garlic aioli
Great place on an afternoon where it's not that crowded!
